Support Consultant - Accounting Software
|

Our
client is a leading author of ERP / Financial / Accounting Software. Due
to continued growth they seek an additional two Support / Helpdesk Consultants
to join the existing team. You will be responsible for supporting the
Accounting Applications via telephone and remotely. The ideal candidate will
have an accounting background (perhaps AAT, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA etc) but more
importantly some exposure to Accounting Software. You may be working as a
Systems Accountant or Financial Analyst at the moment and be looking for a shift
to a more solutions centric role or possibly you are already involved in
Application Support and are considering a move. Over time there will be
opportunity to move into other roles, such as Training, Presales or
Implementation but for at least 6 -12 months the focus of this role will be
Support.

Application Support Consultant |

Our
client is a publicly quoted multi-national vendor of Financial / Accounting /
ERP solutions. In addition their product offerings include solutions that
address such areas as CRM, Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting Tools and
Helpdesk Management Solutions. They seek someone to join the support team
within the Accounting Solutions Division. The ideal candidate must have at
least six months experience of working on a helpdesk supporting users of any
financial / accounting solution. The role involves provision of 1st, 2nd
and some 3rd line support to a client base made up of blue chip companies and
public sector organisations. Their products run on NT / SQL and although
technical skills are not paramount, some training will be provided if required
to enable you to handle rudimentary technical enquiries.

Accounting Software Support Consultant |
|
Our
client is a reseller of market leading financial / accounting software and
financial reporting tools. They seek an experienced helpdesk / support
consultant to join a busy helpdesk. Their client base spans medium to
large corporates and the ideal candidate will need to have excellent people
skills coupled with good accounting / solution skills. This company's
products compete in the same marketplace as others such as SunSystems, Navision,
Tetra, Dynamics, Agresso, McKeown Integra, Scala, Exact, Oracle Financials etc).
Full training will be provided on supporting the financial reporting tools (Cognos
Powerplay and Impromptu) as well as cross training onto their products,
however you must be proficient at supporting at least one ledger accounting
solution already.

Junior Support Consultant
|

Our
client seeks a junior support consultant to train into friendly and lively
helpdesk. The role involves providing telephone support to their clients on all
aspects of the accounting solutions they sell (Navision and Sage). The
ideal candidate will have some accounting qualifications (perhaps AAT, ACCA,
ACMA, CIMA, ACA etc) coupled with a little IT savvy. You will be provided with
full training on their products and over time be exposed to other areas of the
company including Training and Implementation. Some knowledge of products
like Sage, Pegasus, Access Accounts, Exchequer Financials, Platinum, Multisoft,
OpenAccounts or similar would be very useful, though not essential.

Our client is a leading consultancy
that specialises in business solutions. They have a dedicated division
involved in the business intelligence / financial reporting arena. They seek an
experienced helpdesk professional to join their team to provide telephone and
remote helpdesk assistance to their client base. Ideally you will have a
sound background in accounting principles but more importantly you must have
knowledge of a major financial reporting or consolidation, budgeting, planning
and forecasting solution. You may have gained your experience in an
end-user or vendor/consultancy environment. Of special interest is anyone
who has knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Adaytum,
Hyperion (Essbase, Pillar, Enterprise), Comshare Commander or Comshare
Budgetplus, Walker Horizon, Frango, Cognos Finance (Powerplay or Impromptu),
Business Objects, Seagate Crystal Reports or Synex f9.
